10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel located on the beach with friendly and helpful staff. I like the connivence of the wrist strap room key as it was very easy to keep track of on the beach. Some of the rooms only have a walk out balcony, a full balcony would be preferred so when booking you may need to verify."

"The section we stayed in was definitely older construction. When we got into our room there was moisture all over the floor near the AC unit. It made the bedding in the room feel damp as well. Our first full day we came back to the room to find our door was left unsecured by the cleaning staff. At one point there was a roach in the bathroom. On our last night we returned to the hotel after dinner and putt putt to find no parking and security suggested their “overflow” lot down the street. Upon going to their overflow lot it was approximately a block away and I was not comfortable parking my car in what looked like an abandoned business and walking that distance back to the hotel in the dark with my children. I asked the front desk if there were any other options only to be told the same thing and to be told security checks it. I ended up circling the parking lot for maybe 15 mins until thankfully someone opened up a parking spot. I definitely will not be back and would certainly not recommend to any one else."

"For kids, this is a great place to be. The pools are cool. The atmosphere is relaxed. Now, for people who are accustomed to nice things meeting a certain standard, this place fell below the bar. Day 1. We put our leftover lunch in the refrigerator after checking in, along with waters and Gatorade, etc... We then turn the AC down and notice it is short cycling due to a compressor issue. But how could this be? We had to wait on the room to be inspected! By 10pm it was obvious BOTH the REFRIGERATOR AND THE AC did not work. About $60 in food was dead. Water was still warm. Room was warm. It sucked. The high point of that situation was the maintenance team that stayed late to swap out our fridge and AC. Nice guys and we appreciated them. After that, the new AC was adequate but barely, and the new fridge worked like a fridge should. Day 2. The remote on the TV was tweaking out. Volume up was a challenge, and down usually worked. TV was finicky. Day 3 to 5. The neighboring room door was sounding like a semi auto shotgun. It seemed like the guests in that room were really irritated about something. Their door wouldn't shut, so they were kicking the hell out of it, slamming it, you name it. I responded twice by preparing for battle. What... the... crap is wrong with that door??!!!??"

"The views and the proximity of the rooms to the beach are simply incomparable. Everything else was fine, but I would recommend that—if they aren't going to install an elevator—they at least build a ramp so that guests can comfortably transport their suitcases and belongings to and from their rooms. The number of guests complaining about this very issue is countless; they should have done something already."

"It was a decent hotel the only problem was that the floor was wet. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the whole floor was wet. We tried to take a towel and dry the floor but it didn’t do any good. I’m not sure where all the moisture was coming from, at first I thought maybe humidity but we just don’t know."
