"The room was clean, breakfast was always good and the view is what we liked the most"

"A sweet spot on the river of an old downtown. We enjoyed glamping in the well-appointed Sycamore tent, and the hosts made a lovely omelette breakfast. We spent the day railbiking at Elk River Rail and an ATV tour with Middleton. It was our first time to West Virginia and we had a great time."

"The amenities were not available due to off season. The room was wonderful. Nice fireplace and bed was super comfortable!"

"This is a beautiful property. I stayed in the lodge and it was quiet and comfortable. It had a main kitchen where you were set up with a coffee pot, filters and coffee, a keurig (bring your own cups) and basically a full kitchen with all appliances available to cook a meal and a table to eat at and read the paper. . "The room was clean, the staff were very nice, but the pictures are a little misleading. I would also suggest having a list of restaurants available in Marlinton since there is no restaurant at the Motor Inn."

"Beautiful place with friendly staff."

"I stayed in room 8 on a Monday night. The room was clean and quiet which was really good for a light sleeper. However, the two things I did not like was that there really wasn't much space to just put your things down. I was traveling light since it was just an overnight on a two day motorcycle trip. If I had been with my wife with a suitcase, it would not have worked. The shower is very small and the floor is not firm and found it challenging to move around. Luckily I am relatively thin...
