"Booked an “upgraded” room only to be told that the only difference between upgrade and standard is a king bed. Expedia room pictures are deceiving.
Watch out for potholes in the parking lot, they’re big enough to ruin your day. Somebody must have hulked out on the door to the stairwell, because the pushbar was hanging sideways off the door. My room smelled like a mix of subtle BO and cleaning products, so I knew it had been recently cleaned. Shortly after arriving there was a domestic dispute in the hallway, but it resolved itself pretty quickly. There also seems to be a black cat living in the laundry area of the hotel.
I travel a fair bit so I had realistic expectations for this stay, I’m really just disappointed in myself for deluding myself into thinking this time might be different."
