"We have always had a great experience at Casa Monica, but with this past stay, there was no hot water. The staff was informed but nothing changed during our stay. We were also given the wrong room at first. I booked a suite with one king, and my husband and I walked into a room with 2 queens. We were like nope, not going to work! They did find us another room but we did not get the suite like I had booked."

"I didn't use the amenities much because I was out exploring the region most of the time when I wasn't sleeping, but everything I experienced was very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I know some people may find it a bit intrusive, but I personally love that they send text messages occasionally to see how things are going with their guests' stays. The one very minor issue I brought to their attention during one of these text messages was resolved...
