"The rooms were a bit hot and you couldn't put the heat down lower than 72. One of the lights by the bed was broken. The gym was fine but could have used another elliptical. The breakfast was okay. There was a great hiking trail behind the hotel. That was a huge bonus."

"Dead roaches on the floor. Described as a suite but was a very small single room. Breakfast poor and not as described. Parking and general property felt unsafe. No elevator to reach upper floor. Odd "decor". Overall extremely poor and beyond disappointing."

"On check in was informed we got an upgrade but that was not the case. We had breakfast included but at check in they failed to give us the vouchers we needed for the breakfast. And was only for $27 per person. No complimentary water in room. Saw a cockroach in the ladies toilets on the lower ground floor. The roof bar was not available when we arrived and was closed Sunday night. For anyone booking please be aware that the liberty bell will ring hourly from 5am and you will hear it! "

"Excellent location. Way to expensive for what you get. Want breakfast or other food, go next door to the Reading Station Plaza. At only $25 for the Breakfast Buffet and next door for a great breakast $10. Parking is a real scam at $40 per day. "

"The room itself enabled cooking and the outside bbq area looked very good. It was a bit disappointing that although the pool looked enticing it was not heated at the time of stay. The gym seemed to be a good addition although I did t have time to use. "

The efforts to provide exceptional customer service is to be admired. The staff are pleasant, accommodating and even make your bed in the morning! The highlight of this hotel is where is located in the downtown area of Philly and exactly 2 minutes walking distance from the reading market. The hotel is huge and it has a huge capacity for a lot of guest, but the amenities are way too little. Also it’s a bummer that when you’re booking with Expedia or any other third-party, you take the room with the worst view. "

"They have thermostats in the room, but they do not work. Heat is always blowing in the room very noisy. You can hear Everybody coming in and out of the rooms next door to you or across the hall you can hear all the neighborhood noises, cars driving by garbage trucks in the good morning or all night long. I was sweating every night But the staff was amazing very clean breakfast was good. They have a pretty good selection the rooms in the building were very clean."
