"Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. The facilities are good enough to make you feel relaxed and at home. We had a lovely time."

"I arrived really late in the evening. I was able to order a sandwich from the kitchen before it closed. There is nothing around the area. My major concern was that there were a ton of insects that I had to kill so they didn't bother me while I slept. I left early in the morning to join a safari tour."

"Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv."

"Ich habe pro Nacht 1100 € bezahlt und mich sehr gefreut. Schon bei der Ankunft die erste große Enttäuschung bevor ich das Zelt betreten habe. Von der Terrasse aus sah man nur Kühe. Selbst nachts hörte man die Kuhglocken und die Laute der Kuh. Man benötigt eine Bootsfahrt von 30 Minuten, die auch vor 6:15 Uhr nicht startet, um zum Game Drive zu kommen. Bis dahin nur Kühr und Pferde. Gut im Wasser befanden sich dann auch Hippos. Aber eine Lage mit Blick auf eine Kuhwiese für 1100 € die Nacht...

"A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. "Staffing was a major issue. There was a cleaner there when we got there and didn’t seem to have any information about us coming. The rooms weee clean but little things were broken (tv remote). When we tried to leave the next morning, there was absolutely no staff around and we couldn’t get out of the gate. It took us 10 minutes to figure out how to get out of the grounds. No communication from anyone. It would be a great little spot to stay if there was a bit better service. "
