Moonlight Bay Suites

"Overall, it was good. 3.5 to 4-star. Cleaning staff were excellent. Laundry was very good. Beds quite comfy though a bit firm. (The gold standard for beds in Broome is the Oaks Broome. They have the beds you would like to have at home). Kitchen was not appointed that well and the 2-plate induction hob was a bit of a pain to work out and use. The swimming pool was large and quite warm. A bit cloudy at times. The sunbeds were hard plastic and could have done with cushions. An hour on them was about the limit before everything started to ache. There was a rule about no swimming after sunset but on two occasions hordes of kids came and used the pool in the evening, without any intervention. Wondered if they were really staying at the hotel."

Roebuck Bay Hotel

"Roebuck Bay Hotel comprises several units, so it was confusing finding reception, had to ask in the Sports Bar. Staff did change our room to ground floor to save lugging bags upstairs, but sadly the pool was out of bounds during our overnight stay due to maintenance. Still we got to use the laundry facilities which was helpful. Went to the evening Drag Bingo in the Sports Bar which was an experience even if we didn't win. Also ate there, large portions. Shops and places to eat out easy to walk to. Drove to the Town Beach, but defo wouldn't swim there despite how inviting it looks."

"Lovely ambiance. The pool, the cafe and breakfast were great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was a downside - a 2k to the nearest beach access beach access and restaurants. The bus is good, but at the end of the line. You need a car."
