"Aksara Heritage is a phenomenal boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel extremely safe and comfortable. Within an hour of arriving they had a massage and mani pedi booked for us and a tour arranged for next day. The grounds are well kept and the surrounding area is very walkable with tons of food and shopping options. Dao and Ming were both instrumental to our stay in Chiang Mai! Would definitely recommend. "Excellent location within walking distance to attractions, massage places, Sunday night market and eating places.
Room came with urinal (a first at any hotels we have stayed). However, the design of the bathtub and shower head is not good. Water splashes to the sides and accumulate on the ledge around the tub. Could do away with the urinal and have the space do up for standing shower. Getting in and out of the slippery tub can be difficult for short people. Hot water at times take a long time...
