"The room was moderately well maintained. There was duct tape holding the carpet together near the door. The air conditioner did not work. The heating unit did not work. The only way we could regulate heat was via a window which was incredibly difficult to open and the locking latch was broken. When I mentioned this to the staff in the morning I was brushed off. There was no attempt to make me feel like they cared or any offer to discuss further. The pool was unkept. There was chlorine buildup all over the tiles. The shower head was pouring out water at an alarming rate that caused the water to splash all over the floor despite the shower curtain in place. Overall, it had two settings and two temps- On and off and cold or scalding hot. The food was mediocre at best. The eggs and sausage were precooked and left in the refrigerator to be heated via microwave. The options were cold cereal, refrigerated meat and eggs, and bread/bagels. It was a breakfast that I would expect at a hotel stay under $100 a night. All in all, I would not stay here again. I would not recommend anyone I like to stay there."

"We were thrilled to see that, unlike other Best Westerns we stayed at the past 2 weeks, the very low 1960 models toilets were replace with taller ones. The layout of the room was excellent providing adequate bathroom counter space. The wet bar area was a plus as was the small dining table and two chairs. The TV was easy to use and channels were easy to navigate. The room was clean and the Luxury Vinyl Flooring jn the bedroom was a positive change allowing for easy cleaning//disinfecting. The breakfast bar was exceptional. Staff was pleasant and helpful. It appeared that this facility was family owned and operated. Kudos to ownership for giving great value for the price. As long as ownership continues to operate with customer they should do well. Will stay here again if we travel the area in the future. Anyone looking at accommodations in Baker City, Oregon will not be disappointed."

"A great price in today's inflated world. No, you're not buying a stay at Buckingham Palace, but the room was simple, clean, and everything worked. I liked it and the fella manning the office. I will definitely stay there again."

"There was thumping from upstairs room all night. No coffee in room no breakfast, I thought it said they had one"

"We had a great experience from the time we checked in. Spacious room, renovated bathroom with a nice shower, decent number of TV channels, and a breakfast with everything you could ever want. We will be staying here more often as we drive through Baker City in future!"

"Staff is nice and very helpful. The pool and fitness room was top notch . Parking should definitely be bigger but it’s not that bad. I give it a 10-10 😊"

"We reserved a first floor smoke free room for two and our dog. The room was reasonably clean. The carpet had stains and looked well used. There was no outside area for the dog. There was a lot of outside traffic noise and in the room above us. Breakfast was good - hard boiled eggs, assortment of bread/ bakery items, french toast, yogurt, 2 fruit juices and fresh apples and oranges. Instant oatmeal, Cheerios, and Fruit Loops, and several choices of coffee and teas. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"Dirty Rooms, Rude Staff, Beds ok. Dirty floors. Fleas jumping in the tub. A/C did not work room was stifling hot. "
