"All inclusive resort well organized with excellent personal. Food and drinks have a great variety that you could eat differently at each meal. Water villas are well equipped and confortable. Definitely a good deal and sufficiently far away from Male to have dark nights."

"We visited Kurumba 12 years ago so this was a return to 'paradise'. The welcome at the airport and transfer to the resort by speedboat was efficient and hassle free, however it did cost $324 for the two of us, something we did not discover until a couple of days before arrival. The Kurumba has a wide range of facilities from the Spa to the glass bottomed boat and tennis courts and in that respect it lives you up its 5* rating. However as occupancy rates were down the specialist restaurants were only open for a couple of days a week, it would have been helpful to have been told this when we arrived. Our beachside bungalow was as ideal as expected although it did look a bit tired. All the staff were very professional, welcoming and attentive. I was particularly impressed with the guys who were constantly cleaning the beaches and common grounds, also the nightly singer was very good and entertaining. The noise of sea planes taking off from Male for the islands was however somewhat intrusive and not as we remembered. Overall we had a very good and enjoyable stay."
