"This is a small hotel located in the CBD of Auckland with access to attractions, the bay, and plenty of restaurants. It was a very comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable (not rock hard like so many big hotels), the room was small but comfortable with all the amenities, and the staff were great!"

"It is a gorgeous hotel. Staff is different . The check-in was good, but later it was a discovery that a room has a spare door which was lock. I request another room. So, later on there was some hustle. Which is wasted my lovely time. I am a retired person and would like to enjoy my time"

"I recently stayed at JW Marriott Auckland and was disappointed by the overall experience, which did not meet the standards typically associated with the JW Marriott brand. Service levels were inconsistent and appeared understaffed. During check-out, I called for assistance with luggage, but no one arrived despite the urgency of our departure. "I got the parking right this time and did not have the long walk from the car parks to the hotel that I had the last time. The Receptionist was very welcoming and interested in us. The room seemed larger than when we stayed a week ago and the space was marvellous, with a great view to the NZ Convention Centre, TVNZ and down to the water. Access to evening eating options is difficult with visitors under the age of 20 on a Monday."

"The staff! All of them! At the front desk, the restaurant and The Churchill! Absolutely incredible team. Felt so welcomed by all. The bed is lush, the pillows amazing! Room a bit smaller than anticipated but for the price was great value. Only downside is the soundproofing and heavy doors slamming when people came in and out of rooms."
