When Hotels.com books you at a condemned motel

Well, there was no stay because when I arrived, there was absolutely no cars in the parking lot so I went to the office and the door was locked and there was a big sign on the door that said, condemned, not fit for human occupancy

HORRIBLE SERVICE

This is NOT a hotel, when you arrive you will find this is Motel 81 and NOT Oyo Hotel. The 'office/reception area' is dirty and smells horrible, they had no rooms available and the owner wanted us to go to another MOTEL which had some of the worst reviews ever about bed bugs and cockroaches and drug addicts being there. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PLACE

The attendee working the grounds was a fine human being, but the location itself was atrocious unfortunately. When I booked it, it was labeled as a hotel, yet it was in fact a motel. My room was not cleaned properly as the bathroom was very unsanitary room the last person who stayed there and this is why I was forced to leave a day earlier than I had paid for.

The stay was horrible , first off they gave my reservations away , I had to wait for an hour for a room to get cleaned . Then the room was disgusting and nasty !!! Dirty and filthy & I was still charged

I’m not a picky person and I know you get what you pay for but this room was really bad. I think the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. There was a clogged toilet upon my arrival to the room the sewage smell stayed through out the night. Then there were so many flies I had to go purchase a can of insect spray there were over 50 but staff was friendly just the room was gross but I needed a place to stay.

Scam Found a really good price on Expedia for this hotel got to the property after driving 45 minutes and then they told me they don’t have the room that I just paid for Then wouldn’t Compas for a smaller room or a bigger room and made me drive another hour and a half and still wouldn’t refund her money

Room was nothing like the pictures: the only thing clean was the sheets and towels. The smell of cigarettes in my no smoking room gave me a headache. Filthy floors made my feet black, air conditioner was very loud and loose in the wall and there was a hole under the door big enough for a rat to get in. The premises and room was badly in disrepair, and broken down cars were parked next to my room. This was very third world and I felt unsafe staying there.

Travelled from Canada and pre-paid. Arrived at 11pm to no one at the desk. I called the number and it was answered on the 3rd call. He said he sold all the rooms and if I had a problem to call customer service. So I did. Poor reception on the call but we got through. He offered a refund and let us know there are no rooms available in the area. Great. He said he wasn’t authorized to offer anything else. Soo… now 3 days later I still have no refund and had to pay triple the price for an available room at best western.

A total dump but it’s cheap

The only reason to stay here is if you absolutely can not afford another option. We felt unsafe during our short stay. Disabled cars in lot and obviously tampered doors made us feel uneasy. We tried to check in at 4:00pm the room was not ready but the front desk person was very helpful and we had a room a hour later.

I tried to check in but they had no electricity so they couldn’t check my reservation. They asked what room I reserved and said Queen- no smoking with fridge. They told me no non smoking rooms were available. They also had water problems. I told them the combination of problems and told them I was going somewhere else. They said ok.

Didn’t even get to stay. They didn’t come to the front desk when arrived so we had to leave and then they wouldn’t refund us through Expedia. They said that was Expedia’s fault; regardless I lost my money. Even tried rescheduling for another day and Expedia tried charging an extra $100 to my card instead of just the extra $30 because I already paid about $80. Probably won’t book through Expedia again because of the issues I had.

This"hotel" is , in fact , a cheapest and crappiest Motel 81 by noisy highway. our" smoke-free" room had ash tray and multiple burnes on very old and dirty blankets. Dirty floors, Sheets have not been changed. Brick- like pillows. Rusty , fallen apart door. Dark and dirty bathroom. Dirty old towels. Broken thermostat and radiators were barely warm , when it was 5-7 degree Farhengeit outside. Nothing like the picture you see . Do youself a huge favor- STAY AWAY! Not even 2 stars deserved.
