"We had an amazing mid week stay at Bannisters, it was a true resort style break. The hotel had a great vibe, staff were lovely and attentive and the pool and views were gorgeous. We enjoyed the multiple food options, including Rick Stein restaurant and the breakfast was so far above expectations for a continental style, I could have stayed all day enjoying all the options! Nice touches all around such as welcome drinks, water and sunscreen available by the pool. 11/10 would love to return! "

"We had a great stay at the resort in Port Macquarie. The facilities were excellent, staff are great and our room with a water view was lovely. The only downside was breakfast – a bit expensive for what was offered, and only feels reasonable value if it’s included in the room price. Will definitely be back to stay again. "

I was surprised that it actually wasn’t very noisy given the proximity to the highway. I appreciated that I was able to check in after 5 and the 11am checkout was nice too. "We stayed at this hotel for one night. We arrived really late and the receptionist was very pleasent. We had a corner room which overlooked the bay. The room was clean and tidy with a balcony, unfortunately there was no lift. It was easy to get to and was in a very good location. There was on site parking and a small swimming pool at the front of the hotel. We walked across the road where the sign said you could see whales, but we didn't see any at the time of our trip which was a shame. Overall...

"We had a one bedroom apartment which was lovely. Staff were very helpfull at time of arrival. Service with a smile and went above and beyond to help. Apartment right opposite beach and several dining options. We only stayed one night as passing thru but would definitely return and highly recommend."
