"Great hotel located conveniently in Northeast harbor on Mt. Desert Island. Picturesque location with balconies overlooking beautiful marina. Onsite restoring great food and friendly staff. Minutes from Main Street shops and additional restaurants. 5 minutes drive to south entrance of Acadia National Park and easy 20 minute scenic drive over to downtown Bar Harbor. Would definitely stay again. Great place, and value. "

"Look no further! This is the first inn I have ever stayed at! The host is extremely kind and is willing to give you all the good tips and tricks to the area. My boyfriend and I stayed one night there and did a good amount of exploring in the time we had! We ate at Ben&Me's (fabulous hot dogs and blueberry ice cream) which was recommended by our hostess! In the morning, I woke and watched the sunrise from the window facing the harbor of our room and it was just beautiful. We ate breakfast there...

"I saw several reviews knocking this place. It's not a Hilton, it's a nice roadside motel. I saw 1 spider, no roaches or drug addicts in the parking lot. What i did observe, was a place that was reasonable priced, central to what i needed. Staff was friendly, polite, and my room was very clean (just older facility). I would hesitate to stay here again if i ever came back to Acadia. "

"We did our research and knew what to expect when it came to showers, electricity, etc. Staff was excellent - very accommodating. We would stay at Under Canvas again. Only slight negative, we underestimated the number of families with small children. "

"I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed in the house and it was a great bed and breakfast experience! The staff were super nice and informative about the area also. Everything was very clean and very quite. The breakfast was very good and there were several things to choose from. This home is walkable to town and i did it several times each day. There was always a parking spot available also. I would like to let everyone know that if your staying in the house then breakfast is included with...
