"Shuttle options are great to have although the hotel is farther from central location however having the train on the back of the hotel is great! Buffett breakfast good. They also have flight schedules avail in the lobby. The bedroom curtain looks old and not hang properly. "

"The rooms in the pics appear much nicer/ more up to date than the room we received. While we were just stopping there for one night to fly out early the next morning, I was expecting more. Our room was very cramped. It was a small, cramped shower. The sheets on the bed were still damp from wash I assume. It definitely was NOT bad. "This was the best stay of my 20-day trip through Italy. The hotel is directly in front of a ferry stop, which made things so easy when we first arrived. I was travelling with my mom, and while we managed ok in more distant rentals in Venice, I wish we had stayed here for the entire trip. The room was clean, so comfortable and attractively finished. The staff couldn't have been more wonderful! Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, with lots of variety. And, the hotel's boat shuttle to the airport...

"The staff was terrific. It is an old monastery from the 19th century that was made into a hotel property so some things about the room you have to accept. It was very European as a hotel, with modern amenities and good internet, quite courtyard. The breakfast 7-10 am was excellent. Location was great, very near restaurants, the water buses/water taxis and on the Grand Canal. I would definitely stay there again!"
