Hotel Dekat Normal Heights United Methodist Church

"It was nice 👌"

"Is a nice place to stay if you're visiting San Diego and moving in public transport. For my first time at a hostel, I really enjoyed my time here; people are respectful, quiet hours are respected, and your things are safe at all times. Bathrooms, showers, hallways, tables- everything was clean; I really felt comfortable here. About the neighborhood, there are indeed many homeless people on the street; however, most of them can be ignored. The hostel staff always made sure they weren't near the...

"When we got there I quickly understood it was not a traditional hotel. It had no lobby, or someone that can help you with any issues. The “hotel” connect with residential apartments. We found an infestation of ants and the number we called did not help, they refused to give us another room, they offered bug spray. Thermostat started malfunctioning and it got hot at night"

"Very helpful staff and rooms were spacious. Appreciated the white noise machines!"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"No way to describe the horrific experience we had checking in when we arrived. Had no idea there would be no front desk or direct contact with a human."

"Very clean and friendly staff, had a great stay perfect place to stay for SDSU distance"

"The hotel was centrally located to Little Italy, Sea Port Village, and Gaslamp. We could not have asked for a better room. And the view of the harbor was amazing. The staff were super friendly. And a bonus for me is they have coffee available in the lobby 24 hrs a day."

"Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Room was very clean. Would highly recommend"

"Decent food"
