Nice views over the valley and out to the bay from the balcony from everywhere. Extras like a cooler bag and picnic basket ad blanket were also included with the room.

Nothing to complain. The property is a bit dated, but that doesn't matter if you're staying for just a few days only. The view from our room was wonderful, overlooking a nature reserve, with views out to Cemetery bay in the distance.

Lovely unit overlooking valley to beach
Great place for relaxing holiday. Norfolk Island very scenic, magnificent coast line, wonderful green paddocks with the NI pines everywhere. No flies, no mosquitoes, no snakes, mild weather in July, and a photographers paradise.

Beautiful lodge accommodation with fabulous views
Could not ask for better accommodation. There was nothing that haven't been thought of. Only small concern was having to hand in car so early on day of departure. Spent a lot of time waiting around for bus to airport. Seemed like a wasted day. Save all your shopping for then.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Endeavour Lodge. It is only a 2.5 hour wait from the time the car is handed in until the bus leaves for the airport. There are lots of great cafe's close to our office to enjoy a coffee while you wait.

Wonderful ocean views from the deck; a comfortable and spacious living area; roomy bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Overall, a great place to come back to each day (or just to laze away the day in). Highly recommended.

Views and Comfort , Endeavour Lodge.
This was our second stay at Endeavour Lodge and we loved it just as much as the first time. So much thought has been put into this lovely accommodation. The units are very clean and modern, the staff so friendly and helpful and the views, Wow!! We intend to visit again and would definitely stay at Endeavour again!

Nothing to fault
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Greeted by Duncan at the airport and a quick orientation of where to eat and shopping etc on our way to our motel. Even our hire car was waiting for us. The apartment was fantastic! Had every thing we needed and more! The views from our balcony were breathtaking. Norfolk Island is a must see place. Everything is beautiful, picture perfect and the locals are very friendly.

So quite and peaceful
Online booking via Expedia nice and easy. Duncan (owner and descendant of Fletcher Christian) was waiting at the airport with complimentary transfer to the Lodge where our hire car was already and waiting. The Lodge is in a beautiful setting, on the sound of the sea and the wildlife. Great views from the veranda. Our chalet was so well equipped with everything we needed for a great stay, including picnic basket, cooler bag and ice blocks, good size binoculars and a baby webber bbq. Attention to detail is excellent. Just a wonderful place to stay!!

Self Contained Accommodation With A Beautiful View
Very pleasant and relaxed holiday staying in a nice self contained apartment. The location is outstanding with beautiful views of both the forest and deep gullies directly in front of the balcony. View of the two islands just off Norfolk Island - simply outstanding views all round make this a reason to make this the place to stay. Quick drive into Burnt Pine shopping strip with an array of cafes and restaurants to choose to dine from. The island has 170 km of roads to drive on and is well worth the experience as the island has amazing views right around. The cows on the island roam freely close to and also on the roads so must be aware of this at all times. An island rich in history mainly the descendants of 'The Bounty' mutineers and Polynesians who settled there in 1856. A very interesting island to visit.

Perfect for two couples
We, two couples, stayed in the two bedroom, two bathroom unit 5 for a week. It was perfect and certainly deserves its 5 star review score. Good position, good view, very well equipped and very comfortable. Comes highly recommended by us - and we hope to stay again.

Panoramic Views of Beautiful Norfolk
Endeavour Lodge offers the best in boutique accommodation on Norfolk Is with amazing ocean and island views. The peaceful environment provides the perfect 'escape' with every provision in tastefully decorated, fully self-contained units, complete with excellent,full-scale appliances. Comfortable large beds allow for restful sleep after interesting days exploring all this unique island has on offer.

My first impression of was awesome and it just got better. The unit had the best view, was full of modern cons even down to a mobile phone to use on the island. The room was very clean and housekeeping always made sure our needs were met.

Great view looking over the pines to Phillip Is
We had unit 1 and the balcony had a superb view of the sea, Phillip Is and looked over the valley of native trees filled with birds. So relaxing and the unit had everything you could possibly want. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Certainly one of the best places we have stayed at.

Best Accommodation on the Island
We have just spent 10 days in Paradise. A holiday on Norfolk Island is the most relaxing experience. You have the time to do exactly how much or how little you want. This was my 6th visit to this most delightful place and I enjoyed it as much as I did on my first visit in 1988. Of all the places I have stayed on Norfolk I would not hesitate to rank Endeavour Lodge as the very best. The Evans' are the most gracious hosts and the attention to detail in their property is second to none. The views from every unit are spectacular, Units 6 and 7 being the best. Our view overlooked the valley where the White Terns gather and you could spend hours just sitting and watching them glide from tree to tree. We thankfully were there when the supply ship arrived and watching the unloading was an experience not to be missed if you happen to be there at the right time, about every 6 weeks or so, depending on the weather and sea conditions. Well worth the visit and we would not hesitate to choose Endeavour Lodge on our next visit.

Close to town and beach. Very clean and spacious.
Our Lodge was very clean and spacious. It was just over three kilometres to town and close to the only swimming beach available. We had access to free bananas and pawpaw every day and were able to purchase their farm fresh eggs when required. Endeavour Lodge had the most fantastic view, high on the cliff overlooking historic Kingston village and both Philip and Nepean Islands just off shore. The Lodge had everything imaginable, even a picnic basket. The owners Duncan and Gaewyn Evans, were most helpful answering every question that we threw at them. A special little room at the Lodge provided us with plenty of reading matter, DVD's and CD's to help us relax after a full morning of site seeing. Our two bedroom apartment came with a full sized kitchen and laundry. Lounge room was very large and accommodated our five adults very comfortably.

Spacious, clean, well-equipped cabin with sea view
We stayed at Endeavour Lodge for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. The Lodge is located on the south-east side of the island overlooking Nepean & Phillip Islands, close to the World Heritage listed area of Kingston and the safe swimming beach at Emily Bay. Our cabin was spacious, clean and well-appointed with modern equipment. The lounge/kitchen area included a functional kitchen with stove, microwave, full-sized fridge and dishwasher. There were place settings for 4 and all the utensils, etc. (chopping board, toaster) that we needed to self-cater when we didn't want to go out to a restaurant. Tea/instant coffee and a small long-life milk was provided but all other food/drink had to be bought. This area included a dining table and 4 chairs and a couch, lounge chairs and flat screen TV, DVD and radio setup. NSW channels, including SBS were available. A selection of DVDs was provided. Separate heater and cooling appliances were provided (which we didn't have to use). The one, large bedroom included a comfortable queen size bed and a single bed with good linen and plenty of storage space. The bathroom/toilet included a large shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure, co-located toilet, good towels, etc. and all the expected soaps/shampoos, etc. A washing machine was included, too. Our large west-facing large deck had a wonderful view and included a Weber BBQ. Beach towels and snorkel/mask were also provided, as well as ready access to a hire car (which you need).
