"Air conditioning does not work and looks like probably not worked for many years. Decor is VERY tatty and looks like nothing been done for more than 20 years. It was very hot in high 30s during our visit so we had to have windows open but as it is more like a motel than a hotel we did not feel very secure having windows adjacent to public area open. Although they have a bar they ONLY serve alcohol if you buy a meal at same time."

"Not what you'd usually expect from an Ibis property. Bleak and poorly decorated with a chaotic amount of "stuff" at reception. Staff friendly enough, but not much they can do to make the hotel better unfortunately."

Wow what a lovely château, lovely superb setting

"Superb chateau, ok breakfast could have had a cooked option (like scrambled eggs), lovely location for the view and peacefulness. We had the tower room which was lovely, lush sitting outside looking at the views or at the chateau. Fine dining but im a bit fussy with my food. "

Very comfortable and a great value

"This was a very large and nice room with a washing machine, at a very reasonable price. The hosts were very gracious and friendly despite the fact that we did not speak French and they did not speak English. It is located in a small village so it is very quite at night and you can get a good night sleep without any road noise. The room in was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offered I’m was simple - coffee, juice, bread, croissants, and homemade jams (which were wonderful), but we knew this in advance. The coffee was very good!"

"I chose this hotel for an overnight stop on our way home from a holiday in Italy. I liked the peace and quiet of the rural setting. I also liked the old-fashioned feel of the hotel (it still used lock & key to open the room door) The rooms were clean, the bathroom spacious and my husband & I preferred that the toilet was separate. It was convenient that the restaurant could provide an evening meal, as well as breakfast, as we were tired from a long day on the road. The food and wine were delicious and reasonably priced I did need my rusty French, as none of the staff spoke much/any English, but we managed to communicate and they were all helpful "

"I was in a ground floor room, which was fine, but at approximately 02:30 a car pulled into to a parking space and left the engine running with the headlamps on that were aimed at my window, while two of the male occupants who were drinking something that was probably beer, had a shouting match, in French, behind my motorcycle, which was a little scary to say the least. This went on for around 20 minutes before they finally sorted their issues and went to their room. I did not sleep at all well and after a long ride from England was very disappointing."
