Nice hotel, well located
the room was nice and spacious though somewhat pricy. The room will need a renovation soon. The hotel restaurant is wonderful and recommended.

A cozy country hotel
The lobby, service, pool area and breakfast were great - even in the middle of corona-related hygiene measures. What dampened our stay was lack of connected rooms (we were travelling with small kids, so adjacent rooms wasn't a great option).

An outstanding hotel in beautiful countryside
Our stay in this hotel was fantastic and I can't rate it highly enough. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel we were impressed with the high standard of customer care, every member of staff we encountered was pleasant and friendly and we felt very well looked after. Our room was large beautifully decorated and comfortable with all the amenities we required. Breakfast was superb with a variety of high quality food on offer. The surrounding area was both beautiful and peaceful with plenty to do in the way of outdoor activities. This stay was just an overnight stop on our way to Bavaria but we enjoyed it so much we are considering long stay here next year.

A nice weekend get away :)
Had a wonderful stay for a family weekend.. the service was very good and accommodating to the needs of my small kids. The breakfast was very good and gave us a good start to each day.

Great stay and value
Great hotel, fantastic breakfast - made-to-order eggs, smoked salmon, bacon sausages, outstanding gourmet cheeses, breads, coffee bar, sparkling wine even on weekday, cereals, yogurts... Wonderful staff at reception and restaurant - didn't have dinner there but wish I had as it looked gourmet. I enjoyed the sauna/steambath and indoor pool-jacuzzi at no extra charge. What a treat it was to stay ther. Oh, and the room was comfy.

Great hotel, friendly staff, very pleasant stay
Very nice hotel, quite traditional German style hotel from outside, but the best things about the hotel could be noticed once inside: very clean and exceptionally cute room, very friendly staff, nicely prepared and tasty food at the hotel restaurant, breakfast with nice choice of food, attention to detail to make your stay even more comfortable (umbrellas at the hotel entrance and similar 'small', but important details), and much more. Definitely worth staying and I will definitely visit this hotel again, whenever I will be in the area.

Good low key vacation spot
This was a business trip and Victor's was near our morning meeting spot. It had an excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The staff was professional, helpful and spoke enough English for me to get by. The surrounding area is popular with other European's as a vacation spot, and it was quite a nice area; beautiful lake and countryside, a few places to eat and lots of recreation. I stayed in a small single room that had been updated with new furniture and was comfortable if small. There wasn't a refrigerator as there rarely are in German hotels. It was a great place, and I hope to be back to vacation here some day.

Short stay on touring holiday
Short stay on way home from Austria, wish we had stayed a day or two longer. The lake amenities are brilliant and this hotel is a short walk away, lovely staff and hotel is more than comfortable.

This hotel was a joy to stay in. The bed was comfortable and the room was neat and clean. The only thing missing was a coffee maker in the room. As an early riser, I prefer coffee before 7 a.m. when the hotel serves breakfast. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and had foods of the region. There was more than enough variety for every palate.

A Very Relaxing Trip!
My plan was to go to the Bostalsee Fest and the Flea Market, but the weather was bad, so I stayed in the room and relaxed. Really enjoyed it.

Best hotel ever
We stayed here on our way home. I never expected it to be that good but couldn't fault a single thing. It was soooo clean and the food was fantastic. The service was the best we had on our whole trip.

Hotel lovely and would have happily stayed longer in different circumstances. Only complaint was bizarre bathroom door arrangement making a tiny room even tinier. And the lights fused as we were leaving!

Super Service
Located in a rural village and part of a hotel group, Very traditional decor, rooms clean and comfortable, service excellent, only let down by slow and unresponsive internet in the room which was a bit of a let down after a day's business travel. All the staff wear very traditional clothing and very friendly and helpful the service is excellent and they have a small spa area to unwind.I would stay again.

GREAT HOTEL BAVARIAN STYLE
Stayed 4 nights and the hotel was excellent, large bedrooms with comfy bed, my room balcony which looked southeast lovely to sit out in late evening as the sum went down. Style was Bavarian including all the staff uniforms. Breakfast a very wide range of choice as a buffet, a real feast which included a glass of champagne if you wanted. Location was good on the edge of village just a short walk from the lake. Did not have an evening meal meal but the menu looked good. Only small issue there was no comfy chair in the room if you sat on the balcony fine, but later at night no where to sit in comfort and read. Would book again if I am in the area, but you do need car as there is regular public transport and its over 10 Km from the nearest town Hermeskeil.

Nice resort hotel
This was our last stay (two nights) of 23 day Euro vacation and I wanted something close to Trier, Frankfurt and Kaiserslaturn but not urban. It is a great resort hotel with all the trimmings. I was very happy with room, location, and dining facilities. The only negative was senior waiter was more impressed with himself than he was customers. The dining room was empty the first evening, we were tired, and reception said we should just go in and sit down. Waiter made big production asking if we had reservations and then acted like it was big issue allowing us to eat dinner. The dining room never got more than half tables occupied. Same waiter was on duty for front pavillion drinks and was as rude in afternoons as well. Kind of funny actually. But, it was an excellent meal otherwise. Breakfast wait staff and meal were the very best. Front desk staff were extremely helpful advising things to see in Trier, where to park, and other details. I'd recommend this hotel as great place to stay and just relax as romantic retreat or with children. The hotel also hosts conferences. Just consider waiter an entertainment feature.

The location was great for quick family get away. The hotel is close to Bostelsee and very clean. The staff made my children and I feel right at home. I was able to enjoy a vacation with the kids thanks to all of them ;).

Got a single bed instead of queen stated in the booking. Room is small, but clean and tidy. Wifi is available in the room (requires login renewal every 24hrs) and breakfast buffet is good!

An excellent stay
We did not know what to expect having booked on the basis of other reviews. We spent a week at the hotel with our grandson (aged 8) and out stay could not have been more pleasant . The staff, general ambience, facilities and quality of food made our stay most memorable and we were sorry to leave. The area in general is peaceful but with good facilities and whilst the hotel almost has the monopoly on dining the quality of the food and service was impeccable and the cost most reasonable. We would certainly recommend this hotel for couples and families and be confident that anyone going by the recommendation would not be disappointed.
