The reception staff were exceptional, very friendly and incredibly helpful, including advice about an adventure company in Jaca that took my son canyoning - it was a great recommendation. "Lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff but not good service in the restaurant. We were left for 20 minutes with nothing to drink and no sign of a wine menu. An American family next to us had the same experience. It seemed the Spanish guests were getting preferential treatment. Basic but nice
"This is a no frills place to stay. That said, the staff are lovely, breakfast is nice and very good value. Our room smelt heavily of cigarettes, so we had to have the balcony doors open all night to clear it. The shower head in the bathroom was broken so it sprayed water at the ceiling and there were dead flies. That said it was functional and ok for what it is. Wouldn’t stop me going there again as a stop over."
