Fantastic stay in a lovely quiet location (watching the blue wrens hop around the grounds was one of my favourite things) Very comfortable room and a great breakfast. The Butterfly Farm is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the cattle farms of the area. Green and serene, with lots of privacy. Karen is a wonderful hostess, she has lots of great information on things to see in the area and she is ready with anything you might possibly need. If you are looking for a retreat away from the tourist traffic of the Great Ocean Road while still being connected to good Wi-Fi and all the amenities, this is the place to stay.

The Butterfly Farm and its hosts Karen and John are very rare finds of the absolute best kind :-). The room was very spacious with a fridge, table, heated blankets (:-)) and included access to a veranda, a huge bathroom, a big corridor and a separate toilet. Karen and John were extremely welcoming and the breakfast a delight!!! We are so happy we found this place and heartedly recommend it to anyone that needs a special retreat for the night.

While this is an older home and reminded me of my grandfather's house, Karen went out of her way to make us comfortable and happy. The internet worked superbly and allowed us to catch up on things. Breakfast was incredible!

Wonderful hosts in a lovely relaxing setting. Interesting older character property. Karen and John made us feel very welcome and gave us alot of ideas to enjoy the Great Ocean Rd. A plentiful breakfast which set us up for the day. Would certainly recommend to family and friends.
