"It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax."

"Feel cheated by both the Expedia as have done booking for 4 and taken half course which is break fast and one meal where as the voucher shows only for 2 adults. The worst part is property manager knew that the voucher had written 2 but they didn’t inform us that the meals are there for 2 only and when we checked out raised a bill for meals of $140 whereas I paid $80 already for the same . "Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"

"Tricky to get to, small uncomfortable bed, very dirty, bottled water seen to have been bottled manually (didn't touch it, it had bits inside). Description mentioned 18 pools, we only saw one. Very poorly sound proofed. Not cheap (especially food). Pretty scenery all around."
