"Great location, just a short walk from Nagano Station and easy to find. It's on the same road that leads to Zenkoji Temple. For a two-night stay this met my expectations. Facilities were clean and tidy. I also had the chance to dine in at their Mash Cafe - it was a nice, cozy ambiance and the food and drinks were delicious. Staff both at check-in counter and cafe were very friendly. "

"I had a wonderful stay here, 4 nights in the summer was beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful, great location, stunning scenery, perfect weather definitely book here. Great restaurants close by, I would recommend a hire car for a day or two as there is so much to explore. Will definitely stay here again if I find myself back here. Would definitybe a lot of fun here through the winter too."

Cute and clean, close to the Sado ferry and the main bus stop, and they were able to communicate the rules and accommodations clearly even though there was a language barrier. "町家を改装したゲストハウスということで、太い梁が見えるつくりになっていたり、照明が行灯風になっていたり、室内が和風で統一された空間になっています。古い建物を利用していて、それでいて清潔感があり、木の温もりを感じることができます。 客室について、ドミトリーでも障子で仕切られているため、プライバシーが保てます。 場所について、新潟駅からBRTに乗り、古町バス停から徒歩10分ほどでゲストハウスに着きます。位置がやや分かりにくいので、地図やゲストハウスのウェブサイトを見て確認したほうがいいと思います。周囲の古町はお洒落なカフェ等があり、若い人が街を盛り上げようとしているのが伝わってきました。特にゲストハウスお手製のマップは必見です。"

"I stayed here for three weeks and really enjoyed it! Close to the Cortina and Norikura slopes and if you wanna go into town or the other ski areas, the bus stop is literally just outside the door. Nice owner, free use of the kitchen to make my own food, good wi-fi connection and great help with my ski equipment that I rented there. Totally recommend this place!"
