"Let me start with the positives, the only thing accurate about the advertisement of the facility is the description of the 4 pools and the amazing view. Yes a picture is worth a thousand s words. The shuttle does run continuously as stated 7am - 10pm. There are a few amazing staff member that go well above and beyond. Maria and Gaston pool and restaurant bar tenders great, Jean who runs the romantic dinner and works dinning amazing, Olman towel station /shuttle driver great. Not so positive, common problem every guest shared was the false advertisement of the 2 restaurants and the 25+ pictures of the food. A restaurant is a place where you sit down, read a menu and place your order, or order from a counter. Dorito is a breakfast lunch and dinner buffet with 90% of the food the same every day lunch & dinner. 2nd common complaint, it list 4 bars - only 1 is open 10am-6pm, and the other 6pm -everyday they run out of alcohol and the drinks are massively watered down. As a 74yr old guest said she got more of a buzz off a cup of Pepsi They do not even have wine. There is a liquor stirred in walking distance, in which, most guest bought their own. 3rd common problem, the facility is sold out but only have 14 chaise longe chairs and 8 are broken. Guest are told to go to the beach or sit on a wooden dinning chair at the pool. So not only is it byob it’s also byoc. Which now brings us to the beach, only a few chairs but you have to get up at 7am to get a chair there or by the pool. "

"The view from the balcony and pool is amazing although there are a few areas that the hotel could improve. The room aesthetics could improve. There was nowhere to sit but the balcony. No iron/microwave in the room and the closet lacked doors. I understand the decision to serve authentic Costa Rican food at the breakfast buffet but a variety of other foods could make it a bit better and tasteful. It was great to have shuttle transportation and all the drivers were super friendly! If the shuttle ran roundtrip all day that would make it better. It only ran for the first 15 mins of every hour. There were times we were done with our walk in town and had to wait for a good 20 mins for the shuttle. "

"Great staff and facilities. Good beach at doorstep of hotel. Restaurants within walking distance if you choose to not dine at hotel. Have visited several times and hope to return in the future."

"Very attentive and friendly staff. Sunset view was beautiful. Having a regular shuttle to the beach and restaurant on site was a great asset for this stay. The only thing I missed was an all inclusive breakfast that we had at all of our other stays in Costa Rica. "
