"This is a really nice hotel for the Tamarindo area. Great staff and service. The shuttle service was important because of the location on a steeper hill. Walking down is no problem, but it's a bit of a hike going up...great for a good leg workout. Rooms are nice and all have ocean views overlooking Tamarindo and the pool. "We had a lovely stay in the 2bdrm poolside - highly recommend being poolside if you can! The staff was responsive and quick to resolve a mixup at check in, which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast, which varied every morning, was fantastic. Pool was super-refreshing for a quick dip. Awesome location, easy to walk to just about anywhere. Resident kitties an added plus. "
