"The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating, and the superior queen room was very comfortable, with cozy, comfy beds and cork floors. Also, I thought the view from the room was really beautiful, overlooking the picturesque town. There's a great breakfast place, Howard's Station, right across the street, and we enjoyed their smoothies, pancakes, and scrambles both days we were there. El Mariachi Cafe across the street was also very good--street tacos and jamaica hit the spot on a hot day. The pool, apparently not heated, was cool and refreshing (found one salamander by the pool, very cute). The pool is surrounded by redwood trees, which gave it a peaceful feel. It was a quick drive (about 20 minutes) to Burke's Canoes where we went to enjoy a day of canoeing. I think this spot is a great, comfortable, budget-friendly option for people looking to land in the Russian River area. I'm sure we will be back again!"
