Not a bad little hotel

Although I did not like Nice the hotel was fine and very central. Room and bed were clean and all was well maintained. Price is quite reasonable and staff were helpful. In the night foot steps from room above seemed to go on forever and disturbed my sleep. This might have been a one off however.

il bel tempo ci ha salvato

Ottime ubicazione e pulizia. Per il resto: Accesso angusto al secondo piano attraverso scala ripida e angusta; camera stretta senza alcun confort; letto stretto con materasso scomodissimo e cuscini indescrivibili; bagno uguale a stipo a muro, strettissimo, lavabo delle bambole e porta /persiana da chiudere con chiodo... Armadio inesistente e infissi fatiscenti... Per fortuna Nizza é bella e il tempo è stato clemente perciò siamo stati sempre fuori. Mia più!

Très bon compromis

Les points forts sont: - l'accueil possible et courtois dès 11h - la proximté de l'hôtel vers les zones festives - la chambre bien chauffée - la fonctionnalité de la chambre (table/ chaises, sèche-cheveux, 4 prises...) Les inconvénients sont: - le parking qui n'est pas à proximité immédiate et on est en zone piétonne, donc pas de décharge minute possible (pas de parking ni de garage propres à l'hôtel, il faut choisir un parking publique) - le coût supplémentaire du parking (minimum 24€ les 24h) - les escaliers à monter si on est chargé (assez étroits, ancienne bâtisse) - les escaliers inadaptés pour un jeune enfant et une maman solo avec des bagages car ajourés en bas sur une vingtaine de cm. Pour info, le parking le plus proche est celui de la place Massena, à ne pas confondre avec celui du palais Massena. Il n'y avait pas de vue depuis les fenêtres des chambres. C'est un ancien bâtiment intérieur aux rues, donc vue sur un autre mur. J'y ai passé un très bon séjour de 24h. Nous étions dans la chambre 6.

I have already rated this so I do not know why I am being asked again. There was limited information about the location of the hotel and we were unable to find it. Then there were loads of stairs and no one available to give us a key so we had to stay elsewhere! We were not happy at all!

Not at all like the pictures - worn down and dirty

Et slidt og nusset hotel, værelse ud mod en uhumsk baggård eller skakt.. Et upraktisk badeværelse med en vask på størrelse med et A4-ark. Døren dertil var bare to lamellåger der ikke kunne lukke af for noget som helst. På billederne ligner det yndige romantisk indrettede værelser, men det er slidt ned og ikke vedligeholdt. Personalet var der stort set ikke, og gjorde intet for at man skulle føle sig velkommen. Indtjekning foregik med en seddel på indgangsdøren, der oplyste at der sad en nøgle på værelsesdøren - men det gjorde der ikke. Ingen undskyldninger, kun en ligeglad attitude. En grim skuffelse.

Dette er ikke ett hotell!!!!!

Dette er ikke ett hotell men et hostel/ hospits. At det selges inn som hotell med fine bilder er rent lureri. Ubemannet resepsjon på kvelden, kode på to dører og inngang via en bakgård der det bor andre folk og det ligger leker og sykler som en må trå over hører ikke hjemme på noe som selges som hotellovernatting. Rommene er veldig gamle og slitte. Sjarm for noen men ikke for en som ligger på hotell veldig mange netter i løpet av ett år. Dårlige enkeltsanger.

Good for a travel-light duo

Arrived after check-in was closed due to flight being delayed. The required code to enter the hotel was not included on the Expedia confirmation. Finally got in when an apartment owner who shared the entrance with the hotel came out. After carrying our luggage up 40+ steps we arrived at another locked door with a note attached telling us to enter code I didn't have. Another apartment owner helped us out and got the code. Once inside it was a nice little room that was clean. Key points: don't be on flights that will be late, be sure you read all the emails carefully and have the code, and pack light. I have not stayed in a hotel that didn't have a 24 hour front desk and won't again.

Sympa, surtout pour la localisation !

L'hôtel est très bien situé : juste à côté de la place Masséna mais en arrière cour, ce qui permet de ne pas être dérangé par les bruits extérieurs. La chambre est mignonne, propre mais petite. Le seul inconvénient est l'absence de vraie porte qui sépare la salle de bain/wc de la chambre. La femme qui nous a accueillis a été très arrangeante. Cet hôtel correspond bien aux touristes qui cherchent un simple lieu où dormir

Good

Italian young couple, in Nice for 3 days. The hotel is exactly in the centre, perfect for visit the city. The bathroom is very small but everything is clean and the room is pretty nice.

Small hotel in the heart of Nice

The hotel is very simple, but nice enough to stay for a short term. All the amenities are there, free wifi. the best part is definitely the price for the location.

Kysymyksessä on pieni hotelli, jossa on vanhan kaupungin tunnelmaa. Vaikka puitteet ovat vanhat ja normaalissa alueen kaupunkikerrostalossa "ullakolla", perillä odottaa siisti ja tavallinen hotellihuone sekä mukava palveluhenkinen isäntäväki. Kerrostalossa elämän äänet toki kuuluvat, niin kuin lähes kaikissa alueen hotelleissa, mutta ulkoa ei kuulu musiikin tai liikenteen pauhe. Hinta/laatu-suhde on erinomainen ja menen uudestaan. Sijainti on myös ehdottamasti plussaa.

Great location but the building is shabby

Staff are welcoming and the location is fantastic but the building into which it is incorporated is very shabby and is a bit of a shock when you arrive. The building including the hotel needs major renovation & repairs. Our room was comfortable but again needed repair & updating. Overall we were quite happy due to the great location.

buon hotel centralissimo

Nonostante il palazzo nn si presenti bene, l'hotel è carino e ben arredato. Le camere molto pulite. Nota negativa i cuscini praticamente inesistenti e la colazione: sulla prenotazione c'era scritto "servizio in camera" ma quando siamo arrivati scopriamo che era a parte (7 euro, solo dopo le 8,30, nn ne vale la pena). Posizione ottima.
