"Really great place. It's just opened so everything is new and the environment cosy. Location is good and the promotional price I paid was excellent value with included breakfast and a nice 5-bed shared room with a decent bathroom. The WiFi was good and a coffee was a reasonable 35 as were beers at 50. Breakfast was included too and was decent also. A few recommendations would be more light in the bathroom as it is to dark to see the mirror and consequently shave and maybe some more lights in the...

"This hotel is close to the Center, in a very quiet street with a view of the Mombacho Volcano. The Manager speaks very good English and to able to advise us on the places to see, always fussing really very nice! the room are large and comfortable, the beds too, own bathroom and wifi works very well. the terrace with the balcony upstairs with the view on the volcano is superb. In addition it is the cheapest in the city, I really suggest!"

"The pool and area around didnt seem to be in service. But the po was open. Wifi was not working. Parking avaiable arcoss the street for 1$ us extra. Overall ok. "

"I had the misfortune to arrive by bus from Managua on a rainy day. I thus had difficulty in finding the Hostal. When I did, at aout 7 pm, the person at the reception did not even ask to identify me, and I was led to a room with a window giving on the corridor, a small old sink giving only a tiny fillet or water, etc. Only cold water, but that seems to be general in San Juan. I eventually got used to all these "perks"..."

"This is my first time in Nicaragua and I'm still not sure what to expect. I stayed in some hotels south of Managua that exceeded my expectations but I would say that while this one was incredibly convenient for the airport and rental car return, the hotel did not meet my expectations for an international name brand Hotel, especially a flagship property right by the international airport. The hard surfaces were very clean but the soft furnishings really needed some TLC. The room was adequate with the same issues. The hard surfaces were very clean but the woodwork and soft furnishings needed attention. My bed spread had a yellow stain in it which was a little disconcerting and a steady stream of little mosquitoes seem to find their way into my room at the rate of about one every half hour. The pool deck was nice but the restaurant, whilst looking good, only offered a very basic buffet that's back home would not be worth the $22US price tag. The staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be given my lack of Spanish. The people in Nicaragua have been absolutely marvelous, they are a gracious and generous people. I would stay here again because it met my needs and walking back to the hotel from the rental car drop off, and then to the airport in the morning was a real pleasure."
