"This is an amazing property built in the late 60's. Very rustic and built into a rock mountain with fantastic views over the Northern Serengeti. You must appreciate rustic and that not always will you have power and hot water, it is very very remote and difficult to get to. I'm an adventurer and this was my favorite of all the places we stayed, but not for everyone. It could use some maintenance, but overall the food was great and is a one of a kind accommodation. "We had a wonderful experience staying at NJIA Panda tented lodge. The property is only about two years old, so everything in in great condition. We were the only guests one of the two nights and received exceptional service. The meals were great with serving sizes so large we were never able to finish. We initially had issues getting hot water and the staff immediately had a team out and got it fixed in no time at all. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area."

"We had a beautiful stay at Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge. The staff was wonderful and very kind, especially Jumo. A portion of the money from your stay goes to the children's home located next to the hotel, which you are able to visit while staying there. The area and view around the hotel are beautiful, however there is a bumpy uphill road to reach the hotel. The dining room is a beautiful space as well and we had a wonderful meal there! "

"It's a cosy place and its convenient to access the lodge, as it just off the main road. They are also very eco aware and do their best to upcycle things. The staff, in particular Marcus, was fantastic at ensuring that we had everything we needed. The lunchbox we better than average and it was good value for money."

"This was a splurge reservation at the end of our ten days in Tanzania. What a treat that was-especially after struggling with Internet and other “missing” items at other properties. Everything about the Neptune property was first rate from the furnishings to the food to the convenience and the staff. Yes, the price point was higher than we normally spend but truly if you get what you pay for, the price seems justified. At Neptune we received what we paid for and then some!"
