Stunning setting overlooking the floodplains. This small lodge provides everything you could want from a safari. Certainly worth spending the money, with beautifully appointed rooms fantastic service and great game drives. Sam, our driver was extremely knowledgeable and patient, he even managed to find us a lion and a leopard (with cub) which was the absolute highlight of the trip.Wildlife in general was abundant and they offer a morning, afternoon and night game drive.
They even do your laundry and alcohol is included as well. For once I found nothing to complain about. Thank you all at Ngoma for making our trip memorable.
Just the most special place. Stunning views over the plains with zebra and water buffalo in view. Daily game drives were excellent with a super knowledgable guide.
Meals are great and service 2nd to none.
Wow - what a fantastic location - looking across river to Namibia and 10 mins from entry to Chobe National Park. The small and unique nature of the lodge - which is a partnership with the local people - make Ngoma a fantastic place to visit. The sheer quantity of game is unbelievable - in Oct the game that has travelled up from Okavango (Zebra) to benefit from water is still around. We had a great game ranger Tebby virtually to ourselves and is knowledge was impressive and a credit to the lodge. Food and facilities and transfers are 1st class for a game lodge - Thanks
Fantastic stay, brilliant location, best food in Africa served by the friendliest helpful staff. Great safari drives with wildlife galore. Extremely professional set up with very knowledgable guides. Perfect!

Too expensive
4star quality ok. The stragegy of Botswana to keep prices very high to protect nature from too many tourists leads to very high prices compared to similar quality lodges in South Africa or Namibia. The view down to the floodplains was beautiful, the excursions to the Chobe National Park brought all the big animals to the camera. Phantastic: the bootstrip on the Chobe near Kasane! As insect lovers who wanted to do many bush-walks we were kind of exotic ourselves.
