We nice staff. The room was okay for a small budget. Small pillows and did not have a remote for the TV. Had to move room and srill no TV remote.And the staff could not connect one.

First thing that I notice when checking in the evening they only had one staff person working the front desk, the Nice Black staff manager was very kind when I asked to see the room. He told me that he could show me another room after 3 room look at Red roof Inn , the I settle for the Comfort Inn but , the rooms had mold in some of them , bad smell in one on them. But over the staff in the evening was much kind then the staff in the morning. I had to shorten my stay because the room wasn’t very comfortable. Only stayed one night . The Staffing in the morning asked why I would stay the whole time. I was just honest with her that the rooms had mold in it rooms . Overall it was very good condition but it’s low end hotel, motel ,

Good Stay with Great Value! I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn & Suites in Newport News and had a generally positive experience. One of the best Red Roofs I've stayed at in a while. Not much in the area for food/shopping/entertainment etc, however it's only a short easy drive to find. Staff was very kind. Rooms were updated and clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable and noisy but there's really no bed as comfortable as your own. The hotel was very clean and smelled clean as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Great service since it changed to the red roof in and suites. Had a issue with the TV they came and fixed it by moving us to another room. Needs a bit of up keep but other than that great
