Very nice for the price
The room was very quiet and parking was very convenient right outside the door. The floors were new hard surface floors. Very clean and modern. The bedding was new as well. Beds were made nicely. The bathroom is a little dated but acceptable for the price. The room was clean. We were also able to regulate the room temperature to our liking.

Pretty good
We stayed in Newport 1 night. The location was perfect, we felt very safe. The room itself was O.k. bed was comfy. The room was clean enough--if you move furniture to access outlets you'll see it's not deep cleaned. Floor felt like they swiffered it instead of a good vaccum and mop. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Would stay again for the price

The hotel was perfect for what we needed it for. We were only in Newport for one night for a family wedding. We really only needed a place to dress for the wedding and sleep for the night. This hotel was clean quiet and it seemed to be have been updated pretty recently. The lady at the front desk was friendly and kind and we immediately knew we had made the right decision with this hotel.

No one works front desk at night, slept in car
There was no one at the front desk after 11pm when I went to check in. So if your flight gets delayed and you arrive after 11pm you will not be able to get to your room, I slept in my car ugh

Staff was nice, but the room was terrible. Beds were lumpy, the place smelled like urine, and not sure if any of my towels and rags were clean. One towel had toothpaste spit on it and one towel had smeared make up. GROSS! The bathroom floor was sticky and the refrigerator looks like it was made in the 60’s and was extremely loud.

The “Bates Motel” as we referred to this pit immediately was dirty, had springs sticking out of mattresses, had cigarette burns on the sink, had a constantly dripping shower, a bathroom door that didn’t lock, and stains on the comforter. It was gross. The staff however were very friendly.

Even though the reviews said the property was dated, we were looking for just a clean room to sleep in so we did not have to drive back to our home state after a wedding. Upon checking in we noticed that it was not only dated, but also not maintained. I’d say the worst thing of all was that it looked like the sheets had not been changed….The pillow cases were all wrinkled, and one of them had a black (possibly mascara mark) on it. Also, we paid a lot for this room. Lastly, I tried calling management twice and both times no one was available to speak to me. I left a message for the first time and within a number of days did not get a callback. This is an honest review. I was almost considering sleeping in my car as opposed to sleeping in those sheets.

Filthy bathroom ruined stay
While the clerk at the desk could not have been nicer, the room itself was awful. While the sheets and towels were clean, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The shower was filthy and there was a dirty washcloth left behind. The refrigerator was also rusty.

Mold on ceiling and bath tiles, pubic hair in shower area, toilet seat not on properly, ice machine broken, floor was so filthy, I had to throw my socks away. Front desk told me that management wouldn’t refund my money so I had to leave and go to another hotel.

A low end Motel
The sink plug did not work. It stayed closed and the latch was broken so I had to pick it out with my fingernails. Not very sanitary. The bottom of the inner shower curtain also had pink mildew on it. There wasn't a hot water brewer for coffee or tea in the room which is standard in every other inn I've stayed in. I'm glad I brought slippers and lysol spray to walk around and touch handles and light switches.

For the price it was ok. Nothing fancy. Appeared very clean. Maid did not come in every day as desk said they would. I had to go to desk to request clean towels. It was in a convenient location for the price. Good for seniors. No steps. Pull right up to door. Don’t expect any frills.

This is an motel from the mid 1900's that has been very well updated and refreshed while retaining that older look. My room was lovely, the air conditioning and television worked well and the bathroom, while small, was fully functional. The entire room was clean and fresh, the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would have told the owners about (I left early and the office was not open) was the bottom of the bathroom door needed to be filed up so it was not rubbing on the tiles.

The room was dirty. It looked like whoever cleaned didn't move anything or clean under the bed. The room was old and had a slight smell. I was in building 1. I heard from other guests that other rooms are nicer. The pools are really nice. Very minimal breakfast offered

First of all, dont listen to the reviews, people are just mean and evil leaving a bunch of lies for reviews. I stayed in this place for three nights, we felt safe. The room was super clean, bed sheets clean, towels cleans, floors clean, bathtub clean, good water pressure in the shower, it has cold and hot water, tv was a flat screen tv, with cable and had different channels, as well as movie channels, lighting in the room was perfect, the room came with a fridge and microwave which were handy for the stay. The door has no open spots where people can see you from outside like other reviews stated, and the windows have curtains that covered the entire window, so dont worry about your privacy. Those people that left those other reviews are so ill intentioned. Also, plenty of parking. The hotel is very accessible and i never had a problem getting back on the road like other people said. Honestly i dont know what they wanted probably a red carpet to the main road? I mean the hotel is pretty good for the price, clean, nice, and safe now if you want a luxurious stay then stay in 5 stars hotel and pay more . No one forces you to stay in this hotel which is really good for the price, people just ask for extreme stuff that you can get in more expensive hotels which obviously you wont get by paying less. Duh. Oh i forgot to mention, the pictures of the hotel is this site is not updated, the rooms looks totally different, very modern and updated, with new tv, etc
