A charming little hotel smack bang in the middle of Sydney. Short walk to town hall station and darling Harbour. We, husband and the wee one stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment room and had an excellent time

There was no soap, body wash and shampoo in my room.
I rented a car so had to use one night parking. The chased me to pay the $40 parking even though my check out was not until 3 days later and I have previously acknowledged the payment. Last thing you need when enjoying dinner out is to be called by the hotel staff to pay for $40 when you are still a guess (it's not like I had run away without paying!)

We have stayed at this Rydges two years ago and found it ideally located in Sydney. The rooms are nice and reasonably spacious, and housekeeping is generally good. We didn't have breakfast included this time and that proved expensive. Kaz's Cafe two doors up in Pitt St was good value if you don't want the full buffet. The hotel is still favoured by aircrews, so breakfast can be hectic. Staff are always nice. Only 2 lifts were working while we visited, but the staff seemed unaware and there were conferences at the time. Made for lengthy waits sometimes.
