"The room was large- we had an extra bed as travelling with our grandson. Plenty of space for us all. The bathroom was also large, slight issue with the over bath shower head but it was manageable. We had breakfast and there was an excellent selection, replenished regularly and there was really nice gluten free bread brought straight to the table for me by the excellent waitress. We used the pool on the afternoon of our arrival and it was really good. The hotel is so close to good bars that serve good, reasonably priced food. This was our second visit and we will be back!"

"Friendly staff and very clean. As others have said, it’s tired (no a/c but a fan was enough) and a little frayed but it’s charming, great for exploring or using as a stop on the way south, as we did. Would stay again. "

"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."
