"Positives: The room had an amazing sunrise, the breakfast area and breakfast food was amazing. The patio area was nice to sit and do some journal entries. We were able to park our rental car in front with no issue. It was a short 15 minute drive to the Oslob whale shark site. Negatives: The room shower smelled very very bad, we didnt even use it. I'm warning you. The safe in the room didnt work either. There is no elevator in the hotel, so you have to walk up a staircase. It was an average...

"The overall experience is really good. Stayed 2 nights with my partner. Staff are very friendly. Walking to locations can take some time however the hotel has small transit units like golf buggies. Call reception and they come to collect and drop off. No telephone in the room and no room service was slightly disappointing. Swimming pools need to be cleaned more frequently. "Exceptional service, helpful and resourceful staffs, and clean room. Due to the typhoon, our tour was cancelled and we really couldn’t do much. Hotel staffs set up karaoke and pool table for us, to keep us busy. They claimed the tree and provided fresh coconuts for us. They were engaging, professional and help us coordinated transportation and activities outside the hotel. Staffs are also very honest. "This is a resort with a big heart. We loved the beautiful and quiet grounds, the friendly staff, the comfortable rooms with great views, and the extensive food and drinks menu that never failed to please. Oh, and it has a great pool and WiFi too. On the Wednesday morning of our stay we walked three minutes along the beach to the colourful Malatapay market."
