Nice room and friendly staff. Reasonable price. It's a short walk to beach and there is a nice place next door to by food ( Food is really nice).

Clean and comfortable hotel
good location even though not on the beach but walkable, hotel was kept clean and pleasant and owner of hotel can arrange tours at reasonable price

This is a very nice guest house
This is a great location, right across from beach path and in the hub of shops and restaurants in Negombo. The manager was exceptional, going out of his way to find me a full service salon and everyone was welcoming and helpful

Friendly, clean, helpful, excellent breakfast. My room had its own balcony, a bit near the road, but I slept well. Very good value.

Great position for the beach and restaurants.
For what we paid, we were delighted with the room, large bed with mosquito net, good sized bathroom and shower, lovely balcony with comfy chairs and a table. That made for a super place to have a sun downer before going out to eat. The beach being literally just over the road meant you could leave valuables in the room and go and swim and return for a shower.

Super quick check-in, big room (I stayed in #3, non a/c), comfy bed, nice bathroom and mosquito net (you need it!). There was a light damp smell in the air and we didn't have a TV like other people but we didn't need it. Cute sitting area in front of the room, quiet but central location, close to everything you need and to the airport. Wifi was strong in the public area but not in the room but this is mentioned in the hotel description and we didn't really need it anyway. Great value and I would stay there again

Nice hotel.
Really appreciated having a very early breakfast provided and being driven to Colombo to catch the 7am train. Travellers dont forget when staff go that extra mile.

Great place, 20mins from airport
This place is ideal for airport transfers etc, it's a really pleasant place, the staff are nice, the room was very good and clean. There's a nice restaurant next door too. We only stayed 1 night and didn't explore the area much, but it seemed well located for shops and wasn't noisy during the night. c

Great, travelling made easy
Huge, comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Spotlessly clean and a TV with English channels in a great location, what else would you need. We were picked up from the airport by a lovely driver at 4am and within 30mins were in bed. We have also been able to leave some unneeded stuff to pick up in a few weeks. I would highly recommend Ocean View, it far exceeded my expectations.

Very nice
I only stayed overnight as I had a flight out the next morning. However, I was very pleased with the cleanliness and overall room quality. I recommended it to someone else I knew was going to be in the same area a few says later.

In the hotel description (and order confirmation) it was written that bathrobes are included, but when we arrived we did not get them. After informing the management about missing bathrobes, they blamed that it is not their responsibility for the description of their hotel.It is the agents of hotels.com who make the descriptions look better. They never provided any bathrobes and they never will. No other options or alternatives were made. So, if you expect to get bathrobes do not make the same mistake as we did:) Otherwise, it is a good place to stay.

Siisti ja hyvä guest house
Yövyin 2 yötä deluxe huoneessa. Kylpyhuone oli moderni ja lämmintä vettä riitti. Ilmastointi toimi hyvin, mutta pääasiassa tuuletin riitti minulle. Lähellä rantaa, vieressä paljon pieniä ravintoloita. Varasin hotellin kautta myös lentokenttänoudon 16e. Hyvä muutaman yön reissuun Sri Lankalle tulon/lähdön yhteydessä.

Wir haben das Guesthouse für zwei Nächte gebucht, da wir mitten in der Nacht erst gelandet waren. Der abholservice funktionierte einwandfrei! Das Frühstück war ok, die Zimmer auch. Allerdings würden wir künftig die Klimaanlage nutzen, der Ventilator war nicht ausreichend.

価格の割に広めのお部屋とベランダです。ベランダからは海がちらっと見えます。 トイレも広めでゆったりしています。蚊よけの蚊帳も装備されています。蚊は居ないように思いました。 金庫っぽいものがありましたが使用しませんでした。クローゼットも大きいです。＊鍵は壊れてましたが。 窓が多いので、朝は明るく気持ちよかったです。 階段しかないので、荷物の移動は少し大変かもしれません。 隣のカフェの昼食が美味しかったです。

Pour le prix, c'est très bon.
J'ai été agréablement surprise de la qualité par rapport au prix. l'établissement est propre, les chambre et salle de bain son nickel. Nous avions un petit balcon donnant sur lewis place, très agréable le soir de s'y asseoir pour regarder le train train quotidien des gens.

Wir haben das Zimmer wegen der Nähe des Flughafens gebucht. Dafür war es perfekt. Sauberes Zimmer und Bad. Konnten ein wenig vorschlafen und um 1.30 nachts hat uns das vom Hotel organisierte Taxi für 2000 Rupies zum Flughafen gefahren.

Wir verbrachten im Juli 2 Nächte im Ocean View Guesthouse in einem der Zimmer im Einfahrtsbereich. Das Zimmer war relativ sauber (bis auf wenige Schimmelflecken) und überzeugte durch eine zweckmäßige Einrichtung und die tolle Terrasse. Das Personal war stets hilfsbereit. Großes Plus ist die Strandnähe (nur einmal über die Strasse). Besagte Strasse kann auch als Negativpunkt gewertet werden, da diese gut befahren ist. Das Frühstücksangebot gestaltete sich recht dürftig.

Fraîchement arrivés au Sri Lanka. Nous sommes restés 2 jours au Ocean view guesthouse. Hotel bien placé. Chambres un peu bruyante la journée vu la rue proche.Accueil sympathique. Petit déjeuné correct. Nous avons pu organisé notre départ pour Polonarua en taxi depuis là.(13000 Rs pour une petite voiture)

Tutto sommato non male.Abbiamo usato la guesthouse come base di partenza e rientro nei vari spostamenti per le escursioni che abbiamo fatto.Personale disponibilissimo ,su richiesta abbiamo fatto un cambio camera con una con condizionatore e ci è stata concessa senza difficoltà.Molto comodo per la vicinanza all aeroporto (meno di 20 minuti di macchina )servizio a pagamento dell hotel .
