"I would never choose to stay anywhere else in Eilat. If you ever close your eyes and dream of the perfect vacation a d the perfect hotel, then Herods Palace is that place! Hard to imagine something better. Eilat plus Herods equal perfect vacation. Almost anything i could say would not be enough or do it justice so I hope the 2 key words - perfect vacation- would convince anyone to give it a try! "

"First visit there, the hotel is good but some facilities closed without properly notifying you during reservation - the pool, the lounge. Not possible for example to sit in the lobby and order coffee. They called 2 days before arrival to notify but this is too late and not transparent. Especially given the premium price. However

"Wonderful the breakfast is out of this world. Room with wonderful balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool, rooms clean coldly . Walking distance to the city activities. No beach would be the only down side but I’m not a beach person so doesn’t really matter. No complimentary water and a little skimpy on the toiletries ( two people but only one bottle of each shampoo/conditoner etc) trivial but would be nice to be able to say this place is really spectacular.

"The hotel is very comfortable as you can spend time in several different areas, it's child-friendly and the food is really excellent. The sun bathing area around the pool is very good too. There aren't enough parking spaces - we had to park the car across the road away from the hotel."
