Alkyoni Beach Hotel

"This property was like taking a step back in time. The reception staff was very nice. The location is amazing with a minute walk to the beach and a view of the beach. It’s not on the beach but is very close to it. It is also very close to town. The rooms are odd. Definitely not up to American standards. Think like an old Holiday Inn room. The linens are bad and the shower is so odd. One of our rooms had a completely open shower with no door. It had a partition with holes so water got everywhere. The bed was not comfortable at all. They use physical keys with a wall AC unit. The patio doors were broken on both of our rooms. It was just a very strange place. The location and staff were so nice that I feel bad about leaving a bad review. But I also want to help out my fellow travelers and be honest about it. This was an odd experience that ruined my Naxos stay. Go much higher end. You get what you pay for."

"I booked this resort, early when we were planning our vacation. Our plans had changed suddenly and I could not get a refund for our one night stay. I was able to visit the resort for the day using ferry there and back. I hindsight I should have forfeited, but I was determined is see Naxos Greece. If I’m every visiting this part of our world, Greece will get a favourable reception."

"Had a rough start in Naxos but the receptionist male/female were fantastic, helpful and friendly which made up the rough start. Room was clean, cleaning ladies were efficient, and accommodating understanding people are jet lagged. Breakfast was ok same thing everyday, by the third day had to go elsewhere to have breakfast. Location of the hotel is terrific as it’s walking distance to Heaven’s cafe, where I went and rented a car at extreme car rentals. See Kosta’s he’s fair and friendly. Our overall experience in Naxos was fabulous and food was excellent!!! Some of our favourite establishments were Taverna Naxos, Lotto, Elliniko, Boulamatis, Pi and Fi and Rotanda, many great eateries around. Definitely need a car to go to one of our favourite beach Pirgaki!! Hands down the best clean, white sand, and not many people. Thank you Polis of Naxos staff A++ for your friendly and helpful ways! Will definitely recommend."

Kavuras Village Hotel & Suites

"The rooms were clean, but very dated. Breakfast was good and had variety. You cannot drink the tap water and you only got a bottle of water when you first arrived. You had to buy more water from the bar at an inflated cost or from a market in town. No market service on site. Bar costs were quite high. One of the restaurant staff was quite rude and we found one of the cleaning staff sitting on our bed playing on his phone for a while as we waited for him to clean the room."

Naxos Island Hotel

"Beautiful hotel, with a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar, and an INCREDIBLE view. The pool could have been a little warmer. The restaurant staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious. The breakfast was also very good. Walking distance to a big beach, that had loungers to use if you bought an item from the restaurants on the other side of the road. We stayed in the family suite with a personal hot-tub. The hot-tub COULD have been a bit warmer, but the room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, amazing experience, and highly recommend. The restaurant across the street is quite an experience as well."
