"We had an awesome experience at check in, the guy who helped us is excellent at customer service. He is very nice and friendly and the girl who helped us check out is also great! The room is very spacious but our tv was a bit small for such a big room. We had nice clean sheets but the bath towels were a bit small, almost like hand towels. "There are many choices for motels in Ridgecrest so when we had to pack up our camping site at Red Rock Canyon State Park in a wind emergency and find a place to stay on short notice while sitting on the side of Hwy 14, we had to decide quickly based on reviews & price. If you're willing to pay over $200 per night, there are probably very reliable places to stay. For under $200 per night, this is probably your best option. "This place is very cute and the staff is very friendly and helped us navigate some night time star gazing and next day activities. The room was small and just about all 2 people need for a quick stop after a long hard day. The resturant onsite offered some nice dinner and breakfast options and a surprising amount of craft beer for purchase. Night time stargazing was exceptional. "

"Alice in the café was remarkably helpful and friendly. Tipi was a cool experience; clean & comfortable inside. Bathrooms are clean and close by. Food in the café is good and reasonably priced (for CA). Pro-tip if your tipi has an evaporative cooler: ask for ice to put in it; it’ll cool the tipi right down."
