"From even before our arrival Nicolas messaged me to give information. At the suites he welcomed us and showed the suite with explanation of every amenities and also described the building history. Just amazing to live in a building from the 14th century, but with all the modern appliances you have in your own home. It is a fusion from the mediaeval times to the present day and it works like I've never seen before! Top score! 10/10"

"The hotel decor was lovely, the bar and bar staff were great with a good variety of drinks and a good atmosphere. I only marked the staff/service down because it took reception a while to find our booking and they didn't apologise for the error. "The hotel itself was lovely, all the ataff were healpful and friendly. Our room was gorgeous, spacious with plenty of room to put away clothes - which never happens these days! The bed was so comfy. One tiny thing is that the room was quite dim - even with all the lights on, but honestly, that could be my age!! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and they catered very well for my partner who is a celiac. We will definitely be back."

The Grote Markt in Antwerp is a beautiful square. This is the side view of the City Hall (Stadhuis) with the Cathedral Spire behind the buildings. I didn't go in on this visit, but I believe tours are available. The Stadhuis also controls visits to the Cathedral Spire, so book here is you want to go up. This only happen on Wedesdays and I was there on a weekend, so missed out on that too! But perfect weather made for a lovely opportunity to sit in teh square at one of the many restaurants!
