"This property takes one a step back in time. David, the owner and host, lives in the upper portion of the antebellum house. He was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for local food and fun. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of antique furnishings. The grounds are manicured and lovely. There was WiFi but no television in the room. "Farrah was wonderful and made it fun. She told us the best places to eat and even took us to the Saloon where the locals like to go listen to live music. This experience was truly like being with friends instead of hotels that just make you feel that you are just an unknown room number."

"We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV. We were sent an email from our host with instructions to access the property and park which also gave good recommendations to local restaurants and attractions."

"On a pas aimé : Un lit de 140 cm aux USA !!!! Une sale de bain très petite. Climatisation très bruyante et qui nous arrivait sur nous ds le lit. Impossible de proceder à un reglage si ce n'est de fermer une trappe non etanche .Je n'ai pas pu dormir la premiere nuit . Sinon ...excellent accueil et propriétaires très aimable. Le cadre est très beau"

"I loved the view of the river. The bartender checked on me often. I sat away from the bar at a table. Free popcorn and $1 coke from the bar. The cokes were $5 at the hotel's store. My bathroom never had tissues even after requested. The room was nice but had too few available for two people."
