"Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Richard and Kayla, at the front desk. The property has some wear and tear that will probably need repairing eventually, but still clean and functioning. Location was EXCELLENT; the beach was visible and within walking distance from the hotel. Nice park, mini golf, restaurant and gas station all within walking distance. "

"The Villas of Amelia Island is part of the Omni Resort, which is great because you can use the Omni amenities (pool, fitness, beach, etc.). The bad part, though, is that we were assigned a room in Turtle Dunes, which is the farthest villa from the main resort (over a mile away). They do have shuttle service throughout the result, which is relatively efficient, but it means you have to shuttle back and forth to the pool, beach, restaurants, etc. every time you want to do something, which takes a lot of time away from your vacation. Also, the food everywhere is very expensive, and so are the amenities, such as renting beach chairs, etc. That said, the room was nice, with a huge bathroom and a beautiful view, and that part of the resort was extremely quiet, even on a busy spring break week. "

"The front desk at check in and check out was rude with zero personality for her position .... The room was furnished with cheap "yard sale" pieces...The view was obscured by the window that haven't been cleaned in who knows how long....The breakfast was basic cheap quality bacon, cheap sausage , premixed scrambled eggs and the coffee machine is ridiculous ...Yes, I was very disappointed especially for the price paid ....Cheap motel vibe !"
