"This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. We had a room facing the road and it was quite loud bout with earplugs it was absolutely fine. Breakfast was amazing, fruit, porridge, eggs, pancakes etc. Locations was also good, away from busy crowds but only a short walk to more restaurants and shops. Pool was clean and taken care of. "We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was our first experience at Sri Lanka. The location of Villa Tara at Hikkaduwa city is optimal - in jungle forest but in ten minutes from the beach also. Property is in fine condition and professionally managed. You will be provided with a top quality guest service.
