"Traveling through Puglia, ‘needed a few days by the beach and so chose this based on proximity to Porto Cesareo and Punta Proscuito. The apartments are thoughtfully remodelled - contemporary design, Alexa this and automatic that - clearly the owners - Stefano and his sister - have an eye for detail and state-of-the-art! They and their team were both charming and generous. Great place for couples - beaches are great, fun and lots of great bars and places to eat. Loved it! Went for dinner at a...

"A car is essential to travel for local food and ammenities five minutes away. Excellent breakfast with home baking. Polite and friendly and nothing was to much trouble, an all round highly enjoyable experience. "

"Alvino is a wonderful bakery. The room I had that was billed as being part of Alvino was in another building. Entry was through a trash strewn alley. I had a second floor room with no windows, no sprinklers, no smoke detector and only one exit. The water in the shower consistently cycled comfortable, too hot, too cold, comfortable, too hot, too cold. I highly recommend the bakery, which sadly was closed one of the two days I was there, but do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere, "

"Raimonda and her family were the perfect hosts. This B&B has the advantage of being very near to Lecce, only a couple of minutes from a major road (SS16), but feels like it is deep in the countryside with the quiet and fresh air. The room was comfortable and quiet with a nice big modern bathroom and comfy bed. Raimonda brought us continental breakfast directly to the room each morning with lots of treats, including delicious fresh pasticcioti di Lecce.
It's worth noting that the B&B does not...

"Very helpful staff. The hotel is nice and in the middle of an Olive farm. You must have a car as it is a drive to local areas for food. Near coast with loads of food options in nearby villages and towns."
