"The pictures that are shown on Expedia’s website must be back from 1960 when the place was maybe new I don’t know when it was established, but I would love to post pictures of what this place looks like now it’s out in the middle of nowhere no security run down disappointed doesn’t capture my feelings had I not been with two other women I would have left the property. I barely slept four hours. My advice don’t go not to this place anyway."

"Only a block away from the plaza and all the shops and restaurants. Loved the atmosphere as well. The room we had, had a balcony which was nice. The room was very comfortable. Only downside was that we had a room when you opened your door there was a steep staircase to the top, it was fine for me but a little hard for my 80 year old mom. I also didn't mind paying for the underground parking, if you've been by the plaza parking is hard to come by."

"We liked the hotel and it's charm. However, our room was crawling with ants. There were ants on the towels, the bathtub, and they found their way into our toiletries overnight. We should have known something was up when we spotted an ant trap around the sink. We brought this to the attention of the staff first thing in the morning (no one is available at night) and we were greeted with a shrug. Expedia tried, but could not resolve the issue. The room was clean and the breakfast was good....

"Couldn't operate the TV in the living room. Staff came to help but as soon as they left I couldn't operate the TV again. Some paint needed in the bathroom next to the tub. Ants in the kitchen. Walked to the city center and square. Overall it was very enjoyable. I would stay there again."

"I booked 4 nights at the Vanessie because it was located close to the downtown area of Santa Fe and the Railroad District. Also, I was looking for local charm, and thought the wood-beamed ceiling was cool. I got there after 9:00 PM only to find out that they do not staff the Inn after 8:00 PM. I called the emergency number posted by the front door and Jay walked me through were to find my key codes (there are no keys, just coded locks) and got me into Unit 1. I immediately found small ants...
