My stay had many positive aspects, but unfortunately also one very troubling incident. The service from Anju and Abishek at the restaurants was exceptional—professional, kind, and always attentive. Anju, especially, truly stood out with her warmth and dedication. If I could rate the staff alone, they would absolutely deserve five stars.
The issue occurred at reception upon our arrival. We were charged an amount for the domestic flight, transfers, and taxes that did not match the expected total based on the official exchange rate of that day. We paid in cash and, unlike all other payments during our stay, we were not given any receipt. We only realized the inconsistency once back home. This lack of transparency was extremely disappointing and left us with a very negative impression, especially considering how well everything else at the resort is managed.
Aside from this, the resort itself is beautiful and well maintained: clean facilities, a beach that is cared for daily, excellent water villas, clear water, and varied, high-quality food. The majority of the staff was friendly and professional.
Would I return? I’m not sure. The resort has many strengths, but this incident at reception affected our overall experience. The five stars I give are exclusively for Anju, Abishek, and the staff members who clearly work with honesty and dedication.
