Very good location and quiet area!
There are too many options for food nearby!
It is only 10 minutes walk from Little Venice!
It is a good choice for few nights in Mykonos.
Newly renovated rooms & bathroom, very clean and the bed was comfortable :) The location is perfect if you rent a scooter and want to explore the Island. It’s also quite close to the beautiful city center of Mykonos. I found a free parking spot for my scooter across the street from „the view on mykonos“ (It’s a 2 minute ride straight past the roundabout and down the serpentine street into the city center). I think you could also walk to the city center, but be aware that the area is hilly!

Budget friendly hotel up a hill from town
Mykonos is expensive so to find this budget hotel was handy. However with this value comes a bit of a steep walk back from the town. We like walking so no issue much for us. And to be fair it does state 20 min walk on the website just not that it’s a steep walk back. Friendly and helpful reception guy. Lovely patio to sit out on.
Really nice hotel, really clean, nice bathroom and bed. Cleaning every day.
The only downsides were the location and the communication with the hotel. From the town is a stip hill (stairs) which takes about 15-20 min to walk. No problem if you like to walk, but a bit difficult if you’re not normally active.
Regarding the communication it just wasn’t that great, they didn’t respond, and didn’t have someone at the reception most of the time
Overall a great hotel and would recommend!
Great stay not too far from the town and nice view. The receptionist went out of his way to recommend some places which if I could remember the names would also recommend.
To be honest it’s very far from the mykonos lifestyle and center.you need a car to get around and transportation(excluding the bus) is 30 euros and up.No breakfast was included for the price I paid for only one night 120 euros.Nothing to do there but rest.property was beautiful but you walk outside a bit and it’s desert.
The location is terrible...way too far to the bus which is the only way to get to a beach or to town..unless you want to keep paying for taxis, in which case just spend the money for a hotel in town. We actually left this property for a nice place and great location right in town.. at a similar cost (early June). I rarely complain, and have never switched hotels on the spot, but this was not at all what we expected, especially in terms of location. We will request our money back (2 nights).
It was a STEEP hike to town and we are in great shape. The room was dirty - no shampoo or soap. The outside sun deck was FULL of ants. Zero view from the room. The shuttle to pick 4 of us up w 4 bags was a mini car so we had to ram in w our luggage on our laps :(
No one around after 5 if anything went wrong.
It is advertised as Mykonos town but it's a 20 minute steep hill walk to get to town. Advertised as a 3 star hotel but it's more of a 1 star motel. Beds and pillow are rock hard and place is infested with ants and spiders. Do not recommend at all.
I think they lost our reservations that we had made 6 months prior. The person picking us up from airport wasn't actually expecting us (he was there to pick up someone else, but we tagged along). Then, our room was not what I booked - three twin beds instead of a double, etc. Room had no view - concrete walls with not a single picture or wall hanging on them. No Air conditioning. no Wifi for the first day... check-in was the owner handing us the key, showing us that it "sticks" when using it, then running off as quickly as possible. No wifi password, no directions, no help with finding anything on the island.
Worst check-in ever. We were lost for the first full day and a half. Missed our excursion because we could not contact the owner (no data as couldn't find VodaFone for a SIM card and obviously no wifi).
When I explained via "Orbitz" messaging that we were lost and in panic mode because we had no phone and no wifi to go on excursion, the owner literally brought me a hair dryer to make up for it somehow. This was not a good place to stay as our first stop in Greece. There is actually no real "view" to speak of unless maybe you got to go on the roof. our room had a single window - it was about 18 feet above our heads, next to a powerless air conditioner.
They did bring a fan eventually.
Quite probably, the absolute worst experience regarding a "hotel" in my life to date.
That being said - if you are looking for a room *only*, this may be an option.
Great stay at Katerina View. Maria was really helpful with port transfers and advice about the area. She wasn't on the property, but was accessable by WhatsApp. The place is located near a small cafe, coffe shop and some small fruit stands. It is about 15 minutes to walk into Mykonos Town. The bus stop is nearby, but the buses were very unreliable, so we ended up using imovetaxi service for most trips to the beach. The pictures shown are not where we stayed, so I think this might be an ad for several properties. The facilities were in good shape however the walls were quite thin and we could hear the people in the room next to us.
