"For a motel, it is excellent. clean & spacious rooms. clean bathrooms. comfortable beds. helpful staff. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. They don't have water bottles so make sure you have enough water with you. I guess tap water also works fine."

"Check-in was easy enough and there is a great brewery and restaurant within walking distance. The room was well made up but it is an older hotel so the infrastructure is just a bit outdated. For one night it was comfy and practical. Breakfast items were almost all gone by the time we got there but the staff was kind enough to bring out more for us upon request."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The hair dryer was broken so they brought me a new one. The bedside electrical outlets in the lamp did not work. Could not charge phone or use medical equipment."

"This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting."

"Ocean front hot tub was a real treat, balcony with director chairs overlooking the coastline was delightful, direct access to the beach and tide pools was so inviting -- all in a very chill northern CA get away -- what else can you ask for!"

We would have liked to stay longer to check out the bar and relax on our attached deck but our schedule didn’t allow that. We’d stay again if we’re in the area."

"Breakfast was less than amazing. Sparse to our taste. Entire property is showing its age. We understand it's under new ownership so perhaps it will be spruced up as it deserves to be. Great location- walking distance to historical downtown and next door to the Hadley Garden. Amenity in bathroom included a bottle of body wash and one tiny bar of soap. Bed was very high and it was difficult to climb into for a short guest without help."

"Beautiful setting. Classic. Food is wonderful. Staff always very helpful but they could have staffed a bit differently to be sure there was always a person close by. Need to beef up gift shop. It’s the Inns 100th birthday and not a piece of clothing, hat or gift to commemorate this landmark. How about Winston teddy bears? Truly loved our stay."
