"We loved the location and the property, however the pillows were foam and both my husband and I did not sleep well because of this. The rooftop terrace was amazing, beautiful views. Overall, we loved the property. It was decorated beautifully 😍 One nice touch was beer and wine was available upon arrival. You simply helped yourself and made note of this, paying when you checked out. We would recommend this hotel."

"We stayed four nights and from the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant. The first night we found the room ( a junior suite) wasn’t really suitable due to the layout. The following day they gave a beautiful suite, must be one of the best in hotel. Everyday when we were picking up the car, they gave us water for the journey. As my wife is disabled, they kindly said they would deliver breakfast to save her having to go to the restaurant on a morning and they didn’t charge extra. Room service food generally was a very good standard and reasonable priced Overall we have to commend the staff, helpful, friendly, the list goes on. Great stay, thank you all again; you are a credit to the Melia group"

"Stayed seven nights at NH Malaga in October 2026. One of the best hotel experiences of my lifetime, and I've traveled for decades, stayed in hundreds of hotels. It's not the physical building that makes me feel that way, although the hotel itself was very nice - comfortable and very clean, fantastic breakfast and breakfast room, incredible location, wonderful lobby, etc. The real reason I feel this way is because of the staff, simply as good as it gets, as good as you can find anywhere. I don't think you can assemble a team as great as this without enlightened, progressive management at the highest level - so my compliments to them as well. Of I ran into a few problems that they helped me resolve, as well as helping with other small details and things that naturally come up when you're in another city. It was like having a team of friends that always had time for you. I can single out Alfonso, Esther and Nina, but there were more, including every single person involved in serving breakfast. You'll find no better operation anywhere. I'm currently staying at well-known brand-name hotel, in another major city in Spain - it seems quite ordinary and cold, compared to the warmth and professionalism at NH Malaga."

"Reception was well handled. Room was fine. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Adequate room for clothes. Large and airy room. Location very good. Restaurants in large numbers and access to historical sites and the port. Only large problem was the breakfast. This needs a thorough review. The staff were overwhelmed and overworked. Resources ran out and eg bowls not replaced promptly. Too many customers at once? Mind you the customers were not helpful. Maybe start to charge for breakfast to limit numbers? Or find some way of regulating in flow? Overall good value for money."
