"Casa Cruz Verde is a family run hotel in the heart of Cuzco. The family couldn’t do enough for us, they were helpful in every way. When we had early am excursions we had a packed breakfast which was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel and its amazing staff!!! "

"The room was really nice with the stonework and candles, everything was clean and the bed comfortable. Manuel was very helpful both prior to arrival and during our stay. Breakfast was nice too. The location is very good, only a 5 minute walk from the plaza and although up a hill we didn't find it too challenging. The only negative was that there was some noise from above the room on both nights, I'm not sure if this was another guest or staff area. "

"The front desk girls were so nice and always helpful. Breakfast was nice fresh fruit and teas and eggs. Location great. And a little bit off the main road so you dont step right into it. Hot shower. Space heater (I went in rainy season). They gave me a blow dryer too upon request. They also gave me a massive thermos of hot water to always have in my room. Very welcoming and well priced! Room is a little small. But I didn’t mind! I had two beds. Maybe that’s why "

"The room was very cold. There is no heating, even if mentioned so. Also, there wasn't daily cleaning as mentioned. My room was never cleaned during 5 night stay. There were also ants in the bathroom. And like others have said, the walls are made of paper, so you could hear everything very well. And the breakfest is served in an open-air space upstairs. "The Andean Palace has an amazing group of staff who respond right away on Whatsapp. Their attention was directed towards guests. For the price the hotel does the job. The bathroom is very small, uneven water temperatures, and some old flooring. There are not many lights at the hotel so it is rather dark at night especially coming back from tours. "I had such a great experience! Amazing location for the higher viewpoints, while only being 5 minutes from the main plaza. I had a very warm welcome and they were super friendly. It was mostly quiet and the beds were the comfiest I’ve had in Peru so far. Breakfast was nice light but filling items so you don’t feel sick in the morning at this altitude. They even let me stay and use the kitchen and lounging area and bathrooms for a few hours while I waited for my flight ! They’ll hold your bags...

The hotel staff even allowed to store our extra luggage for couple of days while we were travelling to Machu Picchu Only a small recommendation the rooms were not noice proof and we could hear outside notices from early in the morning but otherwise a great experience "
